Wanna Play?

Wanna Play?
by Mark Jhon Cardoza Oxillo

'Twas a sunny day but you were up for some rove.
You were wearing a headpiece that your mother wove.
Wandering around then stopped by some sort of shove,
I wanted to come near you but can't barely move.

But you caught me with your eyes, walked close to me,
Made my heart pump fast which led me to sigh hardly.
Caressed me with your gentle hand, made me happy,
To the rhythm of the wind, we danced gracefully.

Swinging back & forth through the air caught in motion,
Levitating like we're on a different dimension.
As we elevated, joy's in proliferation,
Just you and me without minding the distraction.

But just when I thought I'm the happiest with you,
You suppressed everything we've had & said we're through.
You left me hanging all alone, found something new.
In pain with what you've said, hoping that it's untrue.

Without you, silence is a very deafening sound.
A once fun-filled space now turned into just a ground.
And I've realized I'm a swing in a playground,
You always come to have fun and just play around.
